Training and supporting nonviolent movements is the purpose of our existence, and 75% of our time, energy, and resources goes toward this.
In many situations, we aim to provide basic understanding of concepts over a 4-day period. However, all of our trainings are tailor-made according to the needs and goals of participants, number of participants, current level of understanding and experience, demographics, and security concerns.
In any given training, we aim to provide at least a fundamental understanding of 1) storytelling and public narrative (sankofa!), 2) nonviolent strategy and discipline, 3) community organizing and movement building skills (including intersectionality, internal working structures, recruitment, basic PR, etc).
